The 'Tell-Tail' and the Giveaway Stripes

This is yet another poem about cats, but not about their zen or cuteness. Their viciousness! Watch how I describe a murderer cat killing a baby animal. Also read about my favourite apartment cat, Hitler, and why he is named so!

Enjoy the poem!

One bright evening,

my bike’s smooth tyres,

on the freshly made,

freshly tarred, pitch black road

A pitch black road,

that made a flash of white

look sudden and odd.

"What was that?"

thought my puzzled mind.

The mysterious white flash.

Turns out it was a feline!

A Meowzer! A Poonai! A Billi! A Catze!

A CAT!!!!!

A stealthy cat,

that was guilty...

for what? MURDER.

Daggers in it’s bloody mouth,

an unfortunate baby animal.

I as the witness,

had given justice

to the feline murderer.

The cat,

that murdered the poor thing.

The murder was a silent one,

like the middle of the night,

like a disciplined classroom.

But the unfortunate culprit,

left a giveaway.

Evidence.

The mauled victim’s tell-tail

and it’s smart giveaway stripes...

The tell-tail and the giveaway stripes.

The victim was a squirrel.

An unfortunate Baby squirrel!
